Amateur radio licensing

I've been tempted now to go actually take the basic license

I am now a general, got my general license

You don't want the day of emergency being the day when you have to figure out how to use your radio

I'm taking another ham radio exam this weekend.

There's the general, which is what I'm getting.

I have been studying in earnest.

I'm currently at 85% proficiency for the license.

My understanding is that these days you can take the test online.
